Planned to use live bait just for the fun of it.
Went fishing at the long forgotten spot where the KB-ians Anglers Team founded...
alot had changed in that spot and i was amazed by the new scenery..
hehe its been a while and just remembering the fun we had
at that spot... a very2 priceless memories....

miss this place.. just mesmerizing the view..

1st catch. Catfish.. huge and the fight was very good!

wow.. back in the old days I've remember there were only small jetty that fits only 5 person. but now looking at it maybe 20 people could fit in.

2nd Hookup. Tarpon! didn't expect to hook this there. just loving it flying to the air!

3rd hookup was a medium sized Malabar Jack (kalakitok) but didn't have the chance to took picture cause my battery were flat. hehe

Sunday Fishing!

Sunday, 3rd January 2010.

1st Strike Hafish! morning 7.00 am sharp!

Pacah dara shakespere c apis leh bulan2 ne hehe

2nd strike! Bujuk With brand new Black Grub. Very2 Effective

1st licence Bujuk With Brand New Black Smoked Grub! wow!

3rd Hookup with Grub. Dalak!

4th Hookup! Dalak

6th Hookup & the largest on a new spot XXX. Almost a L size

7th Hookup! mini Tarpon..

Assalamualaikum anglers & viewers,

Woke up early at 6.00 am.. cast with Hafish at 8th Street till 10 am.. hafish got the first hook up with the first starting cast! after that it was only misses.. The tarpon were not very active today so we decide to change to the Bujuk spot after we had our breakfast and buying the new killer black & Black smoked Grub. At the Bujuk spot, we received alot of hits! hafish and me received a big strike. we expecting it was a L size Bujuk. but unfortunately we were very panic and we didnt give a solid hookup to it..

At 2.30 pm. Eejat & Unc Suhaili decide to bring me to hunt tarpon again and we found a new Tarpon heaven spot and with only 1 cast, unc suhaili hookup an almost L size.. we received most of a strong hits but most of it were misses again.. The hunt Ends at 6.30 pm. Exausted but Fun!

4th Hookup! using Double Tail Grub.. yeah! done by eejat
Weapon that we used: From Right- Shakespear & shimano slade 2500 (Hafishh), Rapala & abu Cardinal 201 (walid), Relix Power Short & abu Promax Walid), Abu Conolon & Abu Cardinal 301 (Eejat), Lemax & ??? (Eejat).

kata nya best mancing bujuk ne.. mempump bravis ya kai conolon nya.. hehe jeles jua ku meli8 ya dpt bujuk 2.. best katanya membubut2 bujuk 2. 2 miscal ya ri ne n dua2 2pun basar2 sambarannya.. nanti g mencuba.. congrats to eejat 4 first hookup on the new year 2010!

End of 2009 Hunt

Morning, 31st december 2009.

Lure: rapala skitter Pop, Two tail Grub

Leader Line: 20 lbs

Hookup: 2

Eejat went solo hunting on the tarpon spot. experimenting on his new lures and his new Tackle set ( abu conolon & abu cardinal ). Got lot of hookup and an unknown fish strike his lure aggressively until his spool drag screams like never before.. but unfortunately the fish got away..

First hookup! loving its size! wow! using rapala skitter popper

2nd hookup using two tail grub! a new successful experiment

Then the hunt continues, afternoon...

leader line: 15 lbs & 20 lbs

joined Eejat to hunt the unknown fish. but it there were no sign of it taking our lures..

3rd hookup walid. using berkley grub. a very2 small size cute snakehead.. eheh it was fun playing with this one..

out of nowhere.. tried again using berkley grub. a L size snakehead took my grub! loving that Size!

3 minutes after that eejat hook up another tarpon hehe HAT TRICK! yeah you're the best!

And the last hookup by walid Tarpon!

At the end we caught 6 fish. 4 tarpon! and 2 snakehead! the best casting session that we ever had during this year 2009... hope on year 2010 we will hunt a bigger size and all kb-ians members join the trips.

Morning, 29th december 2009. using Only berkley grub with weightless rig. it was fun using it and i was experimenting it from yesterday. the best presentation for weightless rig is jerking it while constantly retrieving it. kinda confuse whether it was a bujuk or dalak.
