Lure: Rapala Team Esco, Rapala Shad Rap, Rapala Skitter Popper.
Leader line: 15 lbs & 20 Lbs
Hits: moderate
Hookup: 2

Went to Ulu Tutong to hunt Hampala Barb with Eejat. As we reached to the fishing spot, There were alot of Barb roaming around the surface. Eejat made the First Cast and got a hit but his line tangled around his lure and miss it.. Then i made several cast and a Big Barb took my lure.. i was in a stunned how big it was and misses the hookup.. We didnt give up and we cast it to the same spot again. Tiny Barb took my lure and hook up! yeah! the Barb tried to escape to the snaggy area but i pumped it and yes my first 2010 Hampala Barb landed! Then it was quiet as if there were no Barb around.... We tried & tried and change various lures.. but there were no sign of barb hunting our lure..

Then.... i tried casting to another spot.. made several cast then out of nowhere a Big splash hit my lure! and miss it.. then tried again since there were signs of the barb hunting it prey. made one very narrow cast through the snaggy area.. saw the barb attracted to my lure and then BAM! Hookup! struggling to fight the barb from the snaggy area pump it and landed my 2nd Hampala Barb 2010!

Ari ne C Megat ( Nelayan Xtreme) plan kn hunt sama2 hehe... First time jumpa ya jua ari ne. ytah nda tau menau dmana kan mencast yatah ya membawa rah Lubuk Snakehead. sampai disana.. bukan nda lawa n xtreme tpt nya.. memang tpt tinggal dalak. n kucahan nya pun ada kan angaran 2 kg+... mau ku merasa tarikan nya 2.. x start ta kmi mengcast. dlm 5-10 cast.. kana sang Dalak trus menyambar Scum ku.. nunggu 3 sec n pump bravis! pikirku damit x d pajalnya tarik 2 mensujud jua Rod Rapala ku ah.. n alhamdulilah naik jua Dalak saiz L. wow.. memang ganas dalak sana 2. lapas atu cast g... nda batah 2 kana sambar g.. basar jua menyambar atu. tekajut jua ku hehe trus tetarik kail ku ah.. misscal tia.... C megat kana sambar jua kana tarik udah... p misscal jua walau apa pun memang best la ri ne Trip bersama Bro Megat.

Planned to use live bait just for the fun of it.
Went fishing at the long forgotten spot where the KB-ians Anglers Team founded...
alot had changed in that spot and i was amazed by the new scenery..
hehe its been a while and just remembering the fun we had
at that spot... a very2 priceless memories....

miss this place.. just mesmerizing the view..

1st catch. Catfish.. huge and the fight was very good!

wow.. back in the old days I've remember there were only small jetty that fits only 5 person. but now looking at it maybe 20 people could fit in.

2nd Hookup. Tarpon! didn't expect to hook this there. just loving it flying to the air!

3rd hookup was a medium sized Malabar Jack (kalakitok) but didn't have the chance to took picture cause my battery were flat. hehe

2nd strike! Bujuk With brand new Black Grub. Very2 Effective

1st licence Bujuk With Brand New Black Smoked Grub! wow!

3rd Hookup with Grub. Dalak!

4th Hookup! Dalak

6th Hookup & the largest on a new spot XXX. Almost a L size

7th Hookup! mini Tarpon..

Assalamualaikum anglers & viewers,

Woke up early at 6.00 am.. cast with Hafish at 8th Street till 10 am.. hafish got the first hook up with the first starting cast! after that it was only misses.. The tarpon were not very active today so we decide to change to the Bujuk spot after we had our breakfast and buying the new killer black & Black smoked Grub. At the Bujuk spot, we received alot of hits! hafish and me received a big strike. we expecting it was a L size Bujuk. but unfortunately we were very panic and we didnt give a solid hookup to it..

At 2.30 pm. Eejat & Unc Suhaili decide to bring me to hunt tarpon again and we found a new Tarpon heaven spot and with only 1 cast, unc suhaili hookup an almost L size.. we received most of a strong hits but most of it were misses again.. The hunt Ends at 6.30 pm. Exausted but Fun!
